EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG is a listed energy supply company and the third largest energy company in Germany. The EnBW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm is located 32 kilometers north of the island of Rügen and supplies 288 megawatts of climate-friendly energy from 80 wind turbines. In purely mathematical terms, this can cover the annual electricity requirements of around 340,000 households and reduce_{CO2 emissions} by around 900,000 tons. This makes EnBW Baltic 2 four times as large as EnBW Baltic 1, the first EnBW offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea, and generates six times as much electricity.
