EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH has been producing thick-walled heavy steel pipes and the associated pipe components at the Rostock site since 2008. The customers - mainly from Europe and Germany - are mainly from the offshore wind industry and the offshore oil and gas market. The use of state-of-the-art machinery and equipment on more than 24,500 m² allows the production of longitudinally welded large-diameter pipes with diameters of up to 10 meters, lengths of up to 120 meters and weights of up to 1,500 tons. Based on the use of state-of-the-art machinery and advanced manufacturing processes, the annual capacity is approximately 144,000 tons.
